Thought I better get around to posting something, haven't blogged for a couple of days, and I know there are folks sitting on the edge of their chairs, just waiting to hear the latest from Snowbird Land.
The last two nights have been cool, got down to about 50 degrees, that probably translates to about 10 degrees C. (or thereabouts) We had to turn our furnace on in the mornings to take off the chill. And we purchased an electric mattress pad which makes for cozy sleeping. (otherwise Alf kept putting his icy cold feet on my side of the bed)
We went golfing yesterday, 18 holes of golf cost us 27 both both of us, including cart. Different golf course, played the nine hole course twice round, I beat Alf the first nine by one stroke, but I must have lost steam cause after 18 he was 6 strokes ahead. Should have quit when I was ahead, or else not let him keep score for the second 9.
Today, our neighbours, Dave and Janie, invited for a drive. We went to Frost Proof to an antique car place. I found my car 1953 MGTD roadster. Picture to follow. Dave took one, so I will have to get a copy from him. Then we went to the Florida Natural Growers visitor center, free glass of OJ watched a video, then on to a citrus candy factory, more free samples, yummy yummy and now home for supper and evening. Don't think we will go to Bingo.

Well, hello. and welcome! I am now retired as of September 30, 2012. This has meant a complete downsizing of our lifestyle so we can afford to do this. We moved into a mobile home in a 55 plus community for the warmer months in Ontario, but are taking off to Florida from November to April. This blog will record some of our adventures and some of my downsizing ideas and creations. Enjoy!
